Terms of Use

These terms cover the apps and services of Linden Street Design LLC. They are meant to be readable, not to bury anything. Some apps have their own terms page with more detail; that page controls for that app.
Using our apps
You may use our apps for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse them, try to break them, or use them to harm anyone. You are responsible for what you do with your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
Not a medical or emergency service
WavePresence and our other apps are aids for families. They are not medical devices, they do not give medical advice, and they are not a substitute for care, supervision, or emergency services. Sensors can miss things, lose power, or lose their connection. Alerts can be late or fail to arrive. Never rely on an alert as your only line of safety. In an emergency, call 911.
Text messages
WavePresence can send text alerts to the Care Circle contacts an account holder adds. Add only people who have agreed to receive them. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. How we handle numbers is in our Privacy Policy.
Hardware
WavePresence sensors are supplied for use as described in their setup guide, indoors, with the power supply provided. Any warranty or return terms are stated where the hardware is sold.
Content is provided as is
We do our best to keep our apps accurate and reliable. Even so, they are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Linden Street Design LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the apps or hardware, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that is used to harm the service or other people. You can close your account at any time by emailing us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and note it in the app.
