Privacy Policy

Linden Street Design LLC is a small studio in New York. We build apps for families and for everyday life. This page says, plainly, what we store and what we never do. It covers our website and our apps. Some apps have their own page with more detail; that page controls for that app.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share it with marketers or data brokers.
- We do not run ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We never buy, rent, or share phone numbers.
What we store
Account details. When you create an account we store what you give us to sign in, usually an email address or a phone number. We use it to sign you in and to reach you about your account.
What the app needs to work. Each app stores the content you create in it. For WavePresence that is the household you set up, the rooms and sensors you add, the readings those sensors send, and the alert settings you choose. WavePresence uses no cameras and no microphones; its sensors report whether a room is in use, and in a bedroom, whether someone is breathing and resting. That is the whole of what they see.
Care Circle contacts. In WavePresence, the account holder can add family members to a Care Circle by name, relationship, and mobile number. We store those so we can text them. We also keep a record of each text we send and whether it was delivered.
Service records. Logs that help us keep the service running and find faults. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting products that build advertising profiles.
Who helps us run the service
We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf and only for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Railway and Cloudflare (hosting), Apple (app distribution and push notifications), and Twilio (text messages). Each is bound to use your data only to provide its service to us. An app with its own privacy page names any further providers there.
WavePresence text alerts
WavePresence sends text messages to a family’s Care Circle when something in a relative’s home needs a look. Consent is collected this way:
- The account holder adds each contact by name and mobile number inside the WavePresence app, with that person’s permission.
- Every new contact receives one welcome text that explains what the alerts are and how to opt out.
- We never text anyone who was not added by their own family, and we never use these numbers for marketing.
Message frequency varies by household; most nights send nothing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP or email [email protected] for help. Mobile numbers and opt-in status are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your choices
You can edit or remove Care Circle contacts in the app at any time. To delete your account and the data tied to it, email [email protected] from the address on the account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Children
Our apps are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above. The core promise, no ads and no selling your data, does not change.
